We Left the marina late morning. Took some photos of Shane in his new T shirt. Several tricky manoeuvres before lunch. Shane has mentioned the very low tunnel. We crouched through that but we had also already been through a staircase lock and a couple more locks with very oily mechanisms until Droitwich which had a lock with a bridge over it. Pretty fiddly. Some cyclists asked if I minded then watching. It was fine, and they concluded it looked like I had the harder job as it was a bit stiff (or I’m a bit weak) and after lunch and shopping in Droitwich, I drove and that did seem easier.
